The daily consumption of the tea can also reduce the presence of free radicals by half in as soon as 15 days’ daily ingestion of the Wu Long tea. Free radicals are substances that can damage our body trough signs of aging. Free radicals are also linked to Alzheimer’s dementia, heart disease, arthritis and many more. It can also contribute to healthier teeth by inhibiting build up of plaque.

The quality of the Wu Long tea can also have an effect on our overall health since lower quality teas that have not undergone the proper oxidation or heating may not have the desired effects that we have heard of. Extreme processing or oxidation can lessen or diminish the good effects of the tea while it may not have any other negative side effects.
