Delicious Caramel Milk Chocolate Cake Recipe
If you love caramel milk chocolate more than dark milk chocolate and every other type, then you are going to absolutely love this caramel milk chocolate recipe that you can prepare yourself right at home.
Chocolate Cake With Caramel Milk Chocolate Frosting
For the cake you are going to need nonstick vegetable oil spray, 2 cups sifted cake flour, 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 ¼ teaspoons baking soda, ¾ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 1 ½ cups golden brown sugar, 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature, 3 large eggs, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons buttermilk, ½ cup lukewarm water, and 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
For the frosting you will need 24 ounces imported milk chocolate finely chopped, 3 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate finely chopped, 1 ½ cups sugar, ½ cup water, and 2 ¼ cups whipping cream.
For this delicious caramel milk chocolate cake you are going to need to preheat the oven to 350ºF, and then spray three 9-inch-diameter pans with 1 ½ inch high sides with nonstick spray. Then you want to line the bottom of the pans with parchment paper, whisk flour and next 4 ingredients in medium bowl, and using an electric mixer beat the brown sugar and butter in large bowl.
Add eggs, beat in vanilla, then beat in the dry ingredients, water, and finally chocolate chips. Now for the frosting you want to combine the milk chocolate and bittersweet chocolate into a bowl, stir in sugar and water in medium saucepan until sugar dissolves, boil and then carefully and slowly add the whipping cream. Stir over low heat until any of the hard caramel bits have melted and the mixture is completely smooth, because you don’t want any lumps on your caramel milk chocolate cake, you want it to all be uniform in texture.
Chill the frosting until it is completely cool and then beat the frosting and apply to the cake as desired. You may also want to include other decorations on your cake, such as candy or pieces of crumbled candy bar.
Make sure that the cake is also cool before you apply the frosting, otherwise it will end up heating up and melting right off the cake, leaving you with an ugly cake and a huge mess.
